This report is complementary to the report (reproduced as an appendix) presented by the FIP Commission on Practical Construction at the 1974 New York Congress on the grouting of ducts in general. Due to the importance and growing use of long vertical cables, and the difficulties encountered in grouting them completely without voids, it became necessary to pay special attention to this particular technique.
Ir. J. H. van Loenen, who headed the previous working group on grouting, has continued with efficiency and care to lead the drafting of this new document, which describes practical methods for protecting vertical cables by grouting.
