The texts collected here have been drawn up by the working Commissions of the Comité Européen du Béton and the Fédération Internationale de la Précontrainte. Appendices 3 and 4, covering deep beams and foundation slabs respectively, are draft proposals that have yet to be officially approved by correspondence.

Likewise, Appendix 5, dealing with special provisions for fire resistance, is as yet only a preliminary draft prepared by the FIP Commission on Fire Resistance and will serve as a basis for discussion leading to definitive Recommendations.
