N° 135.1980. CEB Manual Design of Sections under Axial Action Effects at the Ultimate Limit State (Final Draft)

In accordance with the intentions of the CEB this De sign Manual contains 

a) in the following a short description of its scope ; 

b) the wording of the relevant clauses of the Model Code (§ 1o) ; c) some general comments on the safety considerations , the determination of the design action effects and the basic as sumptions f or the design of sections under axial action effects ; 

d) proposals for appropriate design procedures (formulae, diagrams , tables ) for a variety of de sign problems for reinforced and prestressed sections ;

e) numerical examples for each de sign procedure .
