N° 146.1982 Shear, Torsion and Punching - Progress Report.

After completion of the 1978 ed it ion of the CEB/FIP Mode l Code for Concrete Structures , the CEB has reorganized its work . At the Plenary Session of the CEB in Rome , 1979 , eleven commissions were formed . Arnong these , Cornrnission IV "Members Design" is concerned with the resistance of re inforced and prestressed concrete member s to different actions (e .g. bend ing moments , shear , tor sion , punching ). Spec ial empha sis was laid on the development of rational design mode ls which can also be applied to combined actions .
