This Bulletin is one of three bulletin s (Bulletin No. 175, 176 and 177) prepared by the Model Code Revision Group (MCRG) for discussion at the 25th Plenary Session of CEB, Trevis o 12-15 th May 1987.

In the introduction of Bulletin No. 172/173 "Cornments on the CEB/FIP Model Code 1978 Part A" (July 86 . Wiesbaden) the rele­vant resolutions of the 24th Plenary Session, the terms of refe­rence and the main items for the work in the MCRG are described. 

Bulletin 172/173 was prepared for the meeting of the CEB Advisory Committee Research and Application, Lausanne in October 1986. It is based on comments from National Delegations and especial ly on the work of CEB Permanent Cornrnissions and Task Groups and FIP Commissions. 

On the basis of the discussions in th e Advisory Cornrnittee the MCRG submitted a series of general and specific questions to the CEB Permanent Commissio ns and General Task Groups and to FIP. These question s, the answers and the redraft s received by the MCRG within February 87 are included in Bulletin s 175, 176 and 177.  

Therefore Bulletin No. 175 consists of:

a)    A series of genera! and specif ic ques tions send to the CEB Permanent Commissions and Genera! Task Groups and to FIP. 

b)    For each of the chapter 1 to 9. (referring to MC78) .


Introductory Reports including answers as mentioned before and justifications for new text proposals.

Revised predraft s of the exis ting Model Code chapters already discussed within relevant CEB or FIP bodies. 

Preliminary documents for the chapters which need further discussions .

Bulletin No. 176 comprises of chapter 10 to 18 and  Bulletin No . 177 of chapter 19 to 24 and the appendices.

At the end of each introductory report it is explained whether the text-proposal to the following chapter is made by the Commis­sion, the reporter of the Commission or Task Group, the MCRG or if the text should be considered as a memo.
