N° 169. 1985. Draft Guide for the Design of Precast Wall Connections
The Genera! Task Group CEB GTG 11 , who worked out this report, was established by the CEB Administrative Council after the discussion at the 21 st Genera! Assembly of CEB, , held in Budapest , May 1981 . Close scientific collaboration with CIB W23 "Wall Structures" in preparation of the guide for design of precast wall connections has been next agreed .
The first draft of this report was presented by the reporter and discussed at the meeting of CIB W2 3 Wall Structures ,held in Stoke-on-Trent ,September 1981 . The second draft , reflecting the discussion results was mailed to the GTG members and discussed next at the meeting of the Genera! Task Group , held in Warsaw and after introducing the agreed improvements , including those sent by absent GTG-members , was presented at the meeting of CIB W23 held in Madrid , October 1982 . The three first Chapters were agreed there in principle , al though with many comments and suggestions . It was decided that Chapter 4 should be rewritten , by prof . T.P.Tassios , dr S.Tsoukantas and the reporter . This was done so that in June 1983 , at a common meet ing in Athens and a new third draft of the report was prepared .
The work progress of GTG 11 was reported at the 23 rd Genera!Assembly of CEB ,held in Prague , · october 1983 and thereafter the third draft of the report was discussed at a separate GTG 11-meeting . That draft with some further amendments was circulated for comments among the GTG-members . It was discussed in detai l next at the GTG-meeting in Warsaw , June 4, 1984 and approved for final editing ·to be done as fe l lows : Chapter 1 - 3 by the reporter , Chapter 4 by prof . T.P.Tassios , dr S.Tsoukantas and the reporter .

Comments on Section 1.2, sent by Mr M.Mathieu , the reporter of CEB Commission I, after the final draft of the report was reviewed by the CEB Administrative Council /January 1985/ , have been taken into account in revised version of this Section /March 1985/ .
