This draft has been prepared by the CEB/FIP Task Group and was extensively discussed within the FIP-Commission on Fire Resistance of Concrete Structures . Responsible for the final drafting of the different chapters have been G. Thielen (chapter 1), 0. Pettersson (chapter 2) , J.C. Dotreppe (chapter 3) , K. Kordina, L. Krampf and O. Pettersson (chapter 4) , G.J. Gantvoort (chapter 5) , L. Krampf (chapter 6), 0. Pettersson (chapter 7) and L. Krampf (chapter 8).
Acknowledgements are expressed to Y. Anderberg (Lund) for his valuable contributions to chapters 4.4.3 and 7, to W. Klingsch and K. Rudolph (Braunschweig) for the detail ed elaboration of the tables in chapter 8 and to J.C .M. Forrest (London) and H.L.
