N° 149. 1982. Seismic Design of Concrete Structures - Second Draft of an Appendix to the CEB-FIP Model Code

At the meeting of the Board of Directors of the International Association for Earthquake Engineering held in New Delhi on the 14th January 1977 it was decided that IAEE would prepare a monograph on Basic Concepts for Seismic Codes. 

Jai Krishna, at the time president of IAEE, in his letter of 15 July 1977, has divided this monograph in three parts: i) Seismic zoning. ii) Non­ engineered construction and iii) Engineered construction. Committees to  deal with the mentioned subjects have been appointed in January 1978. 

The work carried out by the two first mentioned Committees has been printed in a Volume I edited in 1980 by the IAEE under the sponsorship of the Kajima Foundation. This first volume consists of two parts: Seismic zoning for building codes and Non-engineered construction.
